Easy Like Sunday Evening...

I had a great weekend--got a bunch of Carina Press editing stuff off my plate and with the copyeditors/formatters. Graded a billion papers. Had my son's super-rad 11th birthday party (with a mad scientist theme). Spent quality fun time with my sister and her friend. Spent time with a good friend of mine too. Overall, 2 thumbs up!

Can't believe in less than 30 days, my third book (Pucker Up) will be out. There's something absolutely insane about thinking I will have 3 books published. LOL. Insane, and yet absolutely cool. It's a real blessing to have that dream come true. And I'm honored that people are reading my work and emailing me about it! I have gotten some fantastic fan mail. :D

I'm planning a big fat fatty contest for Pucker Up, so keep tuned! Things have been freaking nutso for me the past month, but they are starting to get more under control. So I can put my attention back on my books, where they belong. YAY!!

ps--dude, I still owe you guys for your entries to my contest idea contest. YAR, I haven't forgotten! I hope to get that taken care of. LOL

Ups and Downs

So, I haven't been writing. I've been snowed under with work and life and other things. At first, I felt really guilty about it. I'm a writer--I need to be writing! But I also need to be living. And sleeping. And working. And spending time with family and friends. And right now, I just can't fit it all in.

Luckily, my time will drastically free up at the end of the month. I'm counting down the days--I can get back into my groove and set a new schedule, one that allows for writing time. I know this story will be there waiting for me.

Is anyone else insanely busy too?
